The Who and When

What is the most natural thing for two sisters, who love food and love their grandmothers, to do? Started a spices company, of course! Born amidst the corona virus pandemic, Hathkut is a very special and personal project for us. Having grown up watching our grandmothers and mothers preserve our culture through food, we wanted to carry on their legacy by bringing organic, mortar and pestle ground spices not just to our kitchens, but to all of yours’ too! We are so happy to be delivering goods to you that not just enhance your food nutritionally, but also make your food tastier!

 

 

Why Us

What makes us different from the all the other brands out there? Since the product is so personal for us, we are involved in the process from step one. We ensure that what reaches you is a completely wholesome product. Sourcing single-origin whole spices ensure the spices’ nutritional value as it has been grown in a single kind of soil; unlike with big companies, we can ensure that there is no adulteration, making our product the highest-quality one can achieve. Hand pounding of the spice allows its authentic aroma and flavour to remain intact. Since we use family recipes handed down by generations of women, which gives our spices, pickles and other products a unique and distinct flavour.
